Eastbourne and District Canine Society held a fantastic dog show yeaterday at the Vvillage Hall. Even the odd shower could not dampen spirits of owners and their gorgeous dogs. Entrants ranged from tiny and perfectly formed daschunds to a 21 week old American akita who was a beautiful ball of fluff!

Proceeds from the show came to £150 and this was doubled by the Canine Society who very kindly donated a wonderful £300 to the Village Hall! Thank you very much to everyone who contributed to this.

Ros did a great job in the kitchen and made £145 on refreshments which was donated to Cancer Research. Thanks to everyone who made cakes.

We hope that this might become a regular event, thanks to everyone who organised it.
